WheelHouse will be attending the 2019 University-National Oceanographic Laboratory System (UNOLS) Research Vessel Operators Committee Meeting (RVOC), which is being hosted by Scripps Institution of Oceanography.
WheelHouse provides an easy-to-use interface to manage maintenance related activities on a single vessel or fleet. This powerful vessel maintenance system enables the owner/operator; captain; crew; or engineer to maintain the material condition of their vessels using comprehensive Planned Maintenance that link documents, special tools, and required parts to the task. WheelHouse is a Software as a Service (Saas) application on cloud technology with off-line syncing operation through WheelHouse Underway. WheelHouse is utilized by a number of Universities in the UNOLS program to support the maintenance of their fleets.
(UNOLS) is an organization of 59 academic institutions and National Laboratories involved in oceanographic research and joined for the purpose of coordinating oceanographic ships’ schedules and research facilities. One of the primary functions of UNOLS is to ensure the efficient scheduling of scientific cruises aboard the 18 research vessels located at 14 operating institutions in the UNOLS organization.
